    Magpul mbus

What do you guys think. Just removed my eotech from my bcm and put it on my lar-8 going to run nothing but irons on my bcm. I have mbus rear on it now but was thinking about dd fixed sights. Would you trust mbus for holding up as well as fixed. I know they are polymer but seems to be strong, and will have give if droped. Would you rely on them as you only sight. Or go with DD fixed
    Thanks God bless

MBUS are back up sights for a reason. I think they work fine as an alternate to an optic, but if you're going to have a dedicated irons rifle, you need something better.

They aren't exactly the most accurate sights I've ever used.

If I was gonna run irons only I'd invest in a proper a2 carry handle or something like an LMT fixed rear.

I used them on a duty weapon for awhile (front and rear), and never had any accuracy issues. How were they a problem for you?

If you're going to be running a dedicated iron sight gun, I see no reason not to go with fixed iron sights, outside of the cost.

I've had good experience with the Daniel Defense sights.

I'm running the carry handle on my AR right now, even though I have an MI BUIS. No optic (I'd like to get one, but don't have the $$$ right now).

If I were to go no optic, I would use a carry handle.

I was thinking that but trying to cut all onces possible, I guess I am looking at fixed troy or DD. I think DD is a little lighter.

no folding buis is going to be as strong as a good fixed buis. DD, LaRue, LMT, or Troy would my choices. honestly if i was going to run just irons i would get the LMT just to have the A2 sighting system.
