    mid length handguards options

    Hi,

I'm a newb on his first build and would like to know what are the options for a midlength hand guards. I'd prefer something not so traditional looking, like the MOEs. These are in the BCM website but are out of stock. Have these even come out yet?

I've also seen offerings from cav arms and RRA but as I have said, I would prefer something that doesn't look so traditional.

Can you guys give options? The 9 inch daniel defense, larue, or other rails sure look cool but I'm not looking into dropping some coin on things which I do not think I need (probably in the future lol).

there are half a dozen threads here, and probably hundreds of threads around the 'net, on the mid-length MOEs. They aren't out yet.

Your only options right now are the traditional round handguards or some type of rail system. I've been more than satisfied with both the Cavarms and RRA mid-length round handguards.

Cav arms are what my middy wears while it waits for MOEs to be released.

I use the Daniel Defense Omega 9.0 and love it!

Everyone is going to have a different opinion, if the MOE is what you really want, get cheap round handguards until then.

I really don't have a need or a full length rail system for the handguard on a carbine.
