I think the change in protocol is in everyone's best interest.

I'm not looking for a fight I've simply grown tired of your habit of firing off smart-Alec comments about the site and playing it off like nothing has happened.

Have a good shift and relax a bit.

Is it me, or are we heading to the road that everyone has to pay for critical, everyday news or face being sued? Or is this one of these situations where laws have been in place for years, but new technology and circumstances have brought these laws to the lime-light?

I do understand of people getting paid for their work (musician myself). It's how the world turns. But it is looking more and more that we are going to have to write brief essays of occurring news with source(s) in MLA categorization. And if that's the trend, will these lawyers sue the posted/blogger for using this source and that source, arguing that the readers don't need to "necessarily" click on the links, but take the posters word at face value, and subsequently diverted hits from a website that is supported by advertisers?

There has to be some common ground. The idea of just posting a link with a summery looks to be it. But will the other party go further?
