    Tough Sell

I'd be faced with instant castration by my wife.

I had to try one. It's nice especially if you are blind like me. That difference between 4x and 6x combined with the invisible glass makes that 10" flash target in the shadows look like it's right next to you. The only problem if had with it is wanting to shoot the 50 yard stuff in 6x and then getting lost in transitions. Now I'm just looking for the next version to come out with more FOV.

I don't remember the exact FOV on this, but it's pretty good. I see the front of my barrel when I look through mine. The 6X was nice on the 350 and 420 yard shots at FB3G and I found about 1.5X was good for some stages with close targets transitioning to head shots at 50 yards. BTW, it comes with a cat tail.

The new Premier 1.1-8X24 is out now. It would be interesting to compared these two side by side.

On Swarovski, the center dot is always there or works like Aimpoint?

I don't see the dot with the illumination off just a crosshair. Which is nice for precision shooting.

The FOV is excellent!!! I was kidding meaning that the only thing they can do to make it better is improve FOV for future models. I mean 20 feet is good but 40 feet at 6x would be tits!!! I guess they could make a custom reticle similar to the one they have now to fit my load. Now that I would pay for.

I don't think I would not trade 1 for 1.1 to get 8x. At 8x that FOV is going to be too small anyway. It would make for good one shot one kill type stuff but would be way to slow for 3 gun.

Did you contact Swarovski directly for this. I would love to know because this optic has piqued my interest. I'm currently shopping for a ShortDot-esque scope to slap on my blaster and was thinking either the NF or Vortex's new Razor HD option. But, I think I would much prefer this over either of the others, especially if the price were right.

    Thanks in advance,
    Aaron

Yes I contacted Swarovski directly and they had me send them a copy of my credentials and a letter saying how I would use the scope at work.
