    Starbucks!!!!!!!!

Guess I will not be drinking Starbucks any more Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.

So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house for what they and I believe is right. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you
can discard it and no one will never know.

Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I deploy once more.

PLEASE DON'T DELETE THIS.... ALLOW IT TO BE PASSED TO ALL IN MEMORY OF ALL THE TROOPS WHO HAVE DIED SO THAT WE MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO SUPPORT THEM OR NOT!!!

This is an internet hoax. Conduct a snoops check. I know for a fact that Starbucks has sent coffee to Iraq in support of the troops.

Now let's talk about all of the emasculated men who order foofoo coffee so that those of us who drink real coffee have to wait 20 minutes while the barista makes a "Vente, Moca, cappacino, with triple espresso, whip cream and chocolate sprinkles upside down."

Clearly you've never hung out in Starbucks in a college town. Let's just say I'm not here for the coffee...

I use every time this gets posted on one of the forums I visit as an occasion to go buy another Starbucks.

The local Starbucks knows me by name. Apparently my name is "that creepy guy who is always looking at guns on his computer."

I think that is exactly why so many people want to believe this. A huge amount of the clientelle(how ever you spell it)and employees of Starbucks would support that type of policy. Same with Barnes and Nobles, where I really, really want to wear my Tangodown shirt to, but don't want to spend the time in Jail.

You know what the kicker about the whole situation is, Nathan? I don't even LOOK the part! It would be one thing if I hung out in my CRYE gear with a drop holster and boots, but in jeans, a button up shirt, and flip flops typing on an Apple laptop...give me a break. Everything is political in Boulder, too - I've had a dozen people insist in telling me their political views on this subject after discovering what I do. Boulder would be a great place if you could just get rid of the people who live here!
