I have a 11.5 FBI HRT barrel coming from Grant tomorrow, I will try to follow up with info on this, but I expect it to be as Grant mentioned on the previous page (i.e., ported for suppressor use).

Regarding the 10.3s, a user just posted pics on the TOS of a 10.3 barrel from G&R with a port of 0.070, just as expected.

I still have one SAW barrel that likely has a 0.078 port (never measured, but I just sold my spare SAW barrel with that port size) that I will eventually replace with a 10.3 from Grant once they are available again.

It is awesome that G&R makes these available.

That's cool. .072+/- is ideal for NON suppressed use. I had an 11.5 that was sweet at .063" with a can if I remember correctly.

It's about time Colt (assuming they have) reduced the port size on their 11.5" barrels. Those 6933 barrels I have measured weren't small by any means.

I had one. It was absurdly over-gassed. Never measured the port, but it was insane regarding function.

    Hth.
Surely 2 MOA isn't the best a BCM barrel can do? That's pretty poor, IMO

What are your capabilities as a shooter? Are you known for shooting 0.5ish MOA or something with a known rifle capable of it?

Never could get half moa consistently with any gun. Was shooting my 10fp in a mcmillan stock just under moa consistently.
    With a 5.56 ar I was about 1. 308 ar I couldn't wrestle below 1.5.
These days though I'm less concerned about tiny groups. Center of mass hits are what I am happy with now. Those barrels were standard middy, not their chf ones.
