    AR Five Seven

I've seen the 5.7x28 ar uppers and am extremely interested in purchasing one. Has anyone had any experience with this setup and is it reliable or worth the money?

There is alot of info over at fivesevenforum.com on these. I own a PS90 and while I think that the AR57 is a cool idea, if you have the money go for the PS90 due to the short length vs. the AR57 version.

Ok, thanks for the info. I always like a smaller, lighter profile on my tactical carbines. As for now, the p90 is a little out of my budget

These uppers are for wanabees and fit into the bubba category.

They combine all the disadvanages of an AR-15 and all the disadvantages to a P90 in one package and come with shitty clone aftermarket P90 magazines.

Would that make them a "FUDDBUBBA" gun, a "FUBARBUBBA" gun, or a "FUBAR'D BUBBA'D FUDD"?

Good point in a AR57 you get

A full size rifle with an underpowered round.

At least the PS90 has the advantage of short length, especially with a form 1.

When I get my papers back my PS90 will be slightly shorter with the silencer than with the stock barrel.
