    RRA vs Bushy

Guys I just picked up a Daniels defense DDXV and I'm in the market for another AR as well as a AK. If you had a choice between the two which would you go with? Both are carbines and identical models. And I have an oppurtunity to pick either one up for under $800.00 both new unfired

    Thanks!

    Thumbs down

    Neither. I'd pass on both.

Regardless of your perceived "opportunity", there are way too many higher quality alternatives to the left of the chart. Personally, I would not have those two in any consideration for another AR unless I had absolutely had no other choice.

Just buy another Daniel Defense (OR BCM, LMT, Colt, Noveske) and save yourself the headache/bad investment.

Bushy and RRA are bottom tier rifles that are way overpriced, I would offer the guy $400.00 for either or $700.00 for both and if he says yes go for it; at least it would be worth what you payed then; still piece of crap range guns though.
We interrupt this programme to bring you an important news bulletin: the suspect in the Happy Times All-Girl Glee Club slaying has fled the scene and has managed to elude the police. He is armed and dangerous, and has been spotted in the West Side area, armed with a meat cleaver in one hand and his genitals in the other...

Well done, now ditch the idea of buying a bargain basement gun for the low, low price of $XXXXX. I think you should take the time to read the link provided by NCPatrol above and also the stickies at the top of each sub-forum. Please take a look at The Chart provided by Rob and read each tab to get a full understanding of why each item listed is important. Participation and questions are encouraged but sometimes the redundancy gets a little old when the answers are right in front of you.

And last but not least look at my signature line and follow the directions to nirvana.

Neither. Its kind of like do I take bad idea one or bad idea two?

Just so you are aware of what you COULD get for your $800:

BCM Blem Lower with stock $270
    BCM Upper: $385
    BCM BCG: $139
    GI Charging Handle: $20
    GI M4 HG's $22

    Total: $836

So look under the seat cushions and find $36 bucks and have one of the BEST fighting guns made.

Wow! Thanks to all for the priceless input. I truly appreciate it. Thanks to you fellas I will not be blowing my hard earned cash on either one.

That chart is simply amazing. I will be studying the posts within the posts. I do want to be able to build my own some day. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined and see that as a possibilty someday in the near future. The biggest thing I see will be needing is some of the tools for the trade. Plus, I'm sure I'll have a few more questions for this great group of guys.

    Thanks again!
