The Bravo company looks like a good path to take. But if I get another DD It would be covered by warranty. hhhhhhmmmmmmm

I'm not going to do this overnight, I'm going to read/research all the other companies I just learned about. I got a nice up close and personal carbine now. I'll probably look in to a heavy barreled long range type rig for engaging those far away zombies before they get into the DD party zone......lol.

Well the chart kinda rules out the DPMS SASS idea. Maybe I shouldn't say that. I'll have to read and see what all features it has. But DPMS doesn't score that good on the chart.

I'd take a RRA or Bushmaster if the price was around $600.

Thats a great attitude to have; do the research and you will not be dissapointed. This site is a "one-stop" in-depth resource for sure. Take the time to dig in and find the info you require; it is here somewhere, and if not you can always ask in a new thread...

    Good luck.

We interrupt this programme to bring you an important news bulletin: the suspect in the Happy Times All-Girl Glee Club slaying has fled the scene and has managed to elude the police. He is armed and dangerous, and has been spotted in the West Side area, armed with a meat cleaver in one hand and his genitals in the other...

If any BCM part fails, they will cover it as well (FYI).

For 308, stick with KAC, LMT or FN.

I dropped a grand on what I was told was a great rifle. I wish I knew of the list back then. I am going to drop another grand getting this thing battle ready. Lessons learned with money spent. It took about 500 rounds to see that there was a problem and another 300 to verify how bad it is. This company has supposedly great warranty service, but I think I will cut my losses and bcm up.

I wouldn't be scared to RRA.
But in that price range you are too close to getting something much better for a little more. I vote for LMT. Don't have any personal experience with BCM but I know they are well liked.

I wouldn't buy anything RRA no matter how cheap. I bought an RRA BCG just before I came across this forum. So after reading about gas keys coming loose I checked mine. It wasn't properly staked and the screws were loose. So after tightening the screws and staking it I figured it was ok. Then I noticed that the firing pin would get stuck protruding from the bolt face. Turns out the bolt was too short and the shoulder of the firing pin didn't reach the rear of the bolt tail so the tip of the firing pin would wedge in the hole. Fortunately I never fired it. Just chucked it and bought a BCM.

Thanks to everyone here for sharing your knowledge.

    Thanks!
With those choices I'd buy 2 Arsenal AK's.

Just so you are aware of what else you COULD get for your $800:

    Spike's Tactical ST-15 M4 LE Carbine; $799.95

    http://www.spikestactical.com/z/inde...roducts_id=387

So look under the seat cushions and find the additional $$ to cover the FFL transfer and applicable taxes and have one of the better, nearly chart-worthy, values on the market today.

Or if you'd prefer a middy, pick up a few aluminum cans or otherwise find another $10 to supplement the FFL transfer fees and applicable taxes and get the Spike's Tactical ST-15 Mid-Length LE Carbine for $809.95.

I'd rather have the BCM. Why buy from a company (Spikes) who says they have and will post their certifications for everyone to see... and then 60 days later, still hasn't? I lost good faith in Spikes when they couldn't walk their talk.
