I would disagree with this in the sense of a fighting rifle and also the lack of needing such trigger really in said circumstances. If all you do is plink from a rest then by all means go for it, but if you one day may need this trigger group to save your life I'd say go with Colt, LMT or Gisselle groups for reliability that's been proven.

I know of a few SF personnel who used their trigger kits until the weapon started doubling and other stupid crap. They promptly got rid of them.

The first AR15 I ever owned was a RRA with an out-of-spec chamber. It was very disheartening for me to have to end every range trip short because my bolt was stuck in the chamber and wouldn't budge. Based on my own personal experience and RRA's general lack of standards I do not plan to own any more of their products.

I don't have any personal experience with BM, but they don't seem to build their products to a high standard or offer many desirable features either. I would pass on both of these companies' products. I say save your money and buy another DD, some ammo, or some training.

Just in case you haven't gotten the point yet, there are better choices out there and I strongly suggest what I have experience with: BCM. There stuff is quality and hasn't left me hangin yet.

Regardless of your perceived "opportunity", there are way too many higher quality alternatives to the left of the chart. Personally, I would not have those two in any consideration for another AR unless I had absolutely had no other choice.
    +1

save up a bit more and get something of quality .

I would either save up a little more money and buy a BCM, DD, or LMT. If I was absolutely limited to $800 I would buy a spikes M4LE. A third option is a Smith and Wesson MP15. I saw recently that CDNN was selling them for $699 after the $100 S&W rebate.

Any one of these options would be much better than a bushmaster or RRA.
