Barrett questions

I've been looking at the new battery rec 7 and was woundering if anyone has any info on it

My friend has a Barrett Rec7 and really likes it. It's a solid rifle and I never witnessed a FTF when we were at the range. I'm not a fan of gas piston ARs but I'm sure the Barrett is good to go. Last time I checked the REC7 was 1:10 twist and I'm not sure whether or not they updated the chamber... not necessarily ideal. I also remember it being pretty front heavy ( well....generally pretty heavy).

I haven't met a Barrett rifle I didn't like. The REC7 should be fine. I would personally pass.
