Experience with the BlackHawk SpecOps Stock?

Just saw this stock, which looks very interesting. According to the website, the features include:

    • Instantly adjustable stock to fit all shooters
    • 11.25 to 15.25-inch length-of-pull
    • Perfect fit with load-bearing and ballistic tactical vests
    • Dual recoil compensation systems eliminate harsh recoil with all loads
    • Unique design cuts muzzle rise - Back on target faster
    • Eliminate shoulder fatigue and related recoil injuries

I'm contemplating ordering one for T&E. Wondered if anyone here with real world experience with the SpecOps stock could share their thoughts?

    Stay safe,

There are a couple of more threads to check out using the search feature.

I have shot less than 10 rounds through a Spec Ops stock. A buddy of mine let me borrow it at our last 3 gun match. As far as recoil goes it still kicks but it feels like everything is just slowed down a bit. Make sense? I am just not a fan of blackhawk products. There are methods of recoil reductions on a shotgun that do not require add ons like the knoxx stock. Look up the push/pull technique. The best way I can describe it is it's like holding a bow. You pull in with your weapon hand and push out with your support hand. It makes a substantial difference in your ability to control recoil.

They put those Knoxx/Blackhawk stocks on the 590s with ghost ring sights we have at work last year because our female guards had a tough time with the LOP on the factory stocks. The women shot very well with them installed. I however shoot worse with them then i do with a standard stock, found it difficult to get a good sight picture , and also find the recoil more jarring then with a standard stock as well (feels like my jaw, rather then my shoulder is taking the brunt of the recoil). It isn't an accessory I plan to add to my personal 590A1 at home, that's for sure.

I put one on my 870P. I found that if you keep your cheek on the butt-stock the thing doesn't slap your cheek. There is 2 sets of moving parts in that thing. It does lesson the recoil some but not the 50% they advertise.

I don't like them, but will leave it at that.
