I would prefer the v1 or v3. I don't get to shoot my v1 as much as I would like to, only 2k through it in a year, but it has been a great rifle for me. Light, well though out design produced with quality. I don't think you can get a better out of the box gun for the money.

Its an led 285 lumens rock solid construction. May get another one of those for a 1/4 the price of surefire and a mount. Any suggestions or feed back would be helpful thx.

Fenix is a great way to go. I have a TK10 (225 lumens) attached to my XV via Vltor SM-CK scout mount. It blows my surefire 6P LED and L4 out of the water.

I've only put 160rnds through mine with the light on it and the first 50 rounds bumped the light forward in the mount about an inch. but another full turn of the tightening screw got it Light works great though

Thinks for the info. What mount are you using for the light? Dont know if I should go with a Daniel Defense offset mount or larues mount.
Picked up the rifle yesterday, very happy with it. Light great quality feels much better in my hands then must other rifles ive held. Cant wait to get to the range with it. Now I have to save for some doe for optics and training.

I got it in 5.56nato. I have colts .22lr m4. Ya considering what it came with most SW M&Ps where costing that mush or more with same accessories and its not even as good as the DD from what Ive read. Im happy for sure with my choice.

    I'm using a Vltor SM-CK scout mount.
