    Model 1 Sales any good?

I just looked on Model 1 Sales website. I was interested in buying an A1 Stock from them.

    Are their products any good?

On ARFcom someone mentioned to not buy off their website using creditcard... Any experiences with this company?

having your bolt break after 600 rounds is definitely an "issue."

by accounts, they have "really good customer service." fat lot of good that does you when you're standing there getting shot at with a broken gun in your hands. they're just a typical cheap parts assembler that banks on the fact that most people will never put more than 1000 rounds through their guns anyway, so who cares if they have to replace broken parts every once in a while.

    ---

there's about 30 threads chock full of problems and complaints with M1S guns... they're definitely not good stuff. buy whatever you want to buy, however.

On top of most of their parts being of low quality, there are currently issues with their website being used to steal credit card information.

If you do not expect to receive high quality components, and you do not care if your credit card info is stolen, then you will probably be satisfied with ordering from them.

Thanks, those replies are all I needed to hear to stay away. I'm on a budget but I'm not gonna buy crap. I definitely won't buy from someone who is known to have security issues with credit card theft either.

    Again,
    Thanks!

Bravo Company USA uppers are the best bang for the buck right now and the quality is superb. There is simply no reason to give your hard earned dollars to folks that produce shoddy kit (Model 1 Sales, etc) in this day and age.

so how many of you have actually had issues with guns or parts that you personally have bought from them or are all of you basing your oppinion on what you read on the net? . not everyone can afford the bravo company, colt and danniel defense guns. i also have a rock river that has had as many issues as the model 1 gun, based on what you guys are saying, that is now junk. colts have issues just as any other mass produced weapon. you try it out way before your life depends on it, learned that in the army. bottom line, there are many other better guns out there for the same or just a bit more money. do your reasearch and chose wisely. you will learn lots from fixing and tweeking your weapon. buy one and lots of ammo then go shoot.

I've owned 5 M1S kit guns (started off in the AR world on the wrong foot, you could say) and will never purchase so much as a roll pin from them.
