Mentally, I prefer to think of TOS as "The Old Site".

Way back when (10 years ago) TOS was a fantastic place to gather and share information. Along the way it's become so popular that the noise to signal ratio seems to have gotten way to high for my tastes. I still lurk there and am somewhat active on the hometown forums and on the equipment exchange, but I rarely if ever post.

IMHO, most good threads deteriorate quickly and it's painstaking to read 12 pages of "tagged for later" to get to good information.

TOS wasn't started to be the thing to do. It was started out of politeness.

I'm told by a little birdy that K.L. Davis was the source of "TOS." He did so because he said he wouldn't mention arfcom here and then needed to reference arfcom on a subsequent post.

That was my thread that got edited.
The question asked in the first post was "where did you spend your time while arfcom was down"
I answered with several forums, this being one of them.
I don't care about their vendetta.

After it was edited, there was a BUNCH of IM's and posting activity joking about the edits.
I turned on a bunch of people to M4C via private message when they asked what had been edited out...
