I just noticed they are selling these entry rifles for 1450. Carbine gas, m249 bbl steel, plus all the other regular Noveske specifications.

The PIG flash hider/comp looks kinda goofy on that one.

I guess I just don't get it![]()
I don't understand the use of the pig on a gun that long, but they are meeting a demand, so I compliment them for that.
looks like a BARF.com special
bad part is, it will be pinned w/o a stamp, so its not like the owner can easily switch it out when they learn how silly it is..
A company that would like to be thought of in the same league as Colt better take time to think things through more.

Well I did not intend to start a slam fest, as I really like Noveske as a company and I really like their products. I have noticed that my 14.5 Noveske is LOUD compared to a 16.1", so perhaps the pig will throw some of that sound down range instead of into my buddy's ear canal. However, I must defer to those who have used the pig in various applications as I have not.
That looks ridiculous and probably offers little to no benefit to the end user.
Everyone take a deep breath, on almost every Noveske upper and rifle, you can specify your choice of flash suppressor that they have in stock. Pretty sure a phone call would change that out to a YHM, AAC, Surefire, Noveske, A2, etc, etc, etc.
