I just got a BABC and I am trying to install it on mt LMT MWS. No matter what I do when I hand tighten it the BAC shield is on the bottom about the 7 o'clock position. Any ideas?

You need to use a crush washer or the correct thickness shim
I have hand tightened it down using the supplied crush washer, it always ends up on the 7 o'clock position thats the problem
Sorry for the newb question, but I really want to get a BattleComp, and I've never swapped out a muzzle break before. Is it something I can do myself, or should I take it to one of the local gunsmiths? I want to make sure it's done right.
I currently have a fluted YHM barrel with YHM phantom muzzle break. Can I do the swap myself?
Thanks!
1-7S Ranger: After hand tightening, you will need to torque the unit down the rest of the way by compressing the crush washer. Typically the crush washer will allow about 360 degrees of rotation while compressing. PM me if you need help with the installation.
B Cart: If you have an action block and armorers wrench you should be able to install it yourself. I would suggest sending it to a gunsmith if you don't have the right tools.

I took out my new DPMS 308 today with BABC installed. I definitely noticed the lack of muzzle rise that it before I changed out the A2 flash hider it came with. Also recoil was straight back and not as sharp, a big difference from a PTR-91 I used to own. I was able to stay on target while shooting steel from 200 to 500 yds.
I can't wait for the AK version to come out (willing to beta test!)
