I use an ML2 and love it. I have a friend who got a Mil deal with LaRue on a T1 and a high mount. I used it and I liked my ML2 as much or more than the T1. I don't see a reason to upgrade, except to get a Larue mount!

Is a lower 1/3 cowitness too high? My Eotech had absolute cowitness and it seemed to work well. I feel like my cheek won't even be on the buttstock with this mount I got.

My upper has a ff rail with a folding BUIS so there is nothing in the way, even with absolute cowitness.

Did I screw up? Is a lower 1/3 cowitness mount comfortable?

I recently switched my ML2 from an ARMS co-witness mount to a Larue lower 1/3 mount. I had hesitated for a while over this decision as I did not know if I would like the ML2 mounted higher than it already was. Then I began to notice that I shot with my head higher and the red dot in the upper portion of the tube, at this point I pulled the trigger, so to speak, and went with the Larue 1/3 mount. It allows a more heads up shooting position which I much prefer to being "down in the tube". It is really your choice but I'm glad I switched.

I just recently switched from an M3 in a LT-129 to a T1 in an LT-660 and LOVE it! So much lighter and faster...I'd never go back. JMHO!

This deal is only $26 less than ordering from Larue. Plus you get all the extra goodies !

The T1 is lighter and uses a more available battery. But, the aperture size of the ML2 gives you more flexibility with head placement.

    They are both good.
    This.

The SKD deal includes the flash kill.

If you want Larue goodies, just order the sight and get the mount separately from Larue.

That and the price he quoted is for the ML2 not the M2
