New Products from Blue Force Gear.

Anybody notice the two new products from BFG? I got to handle the new BFG LW Redi-Mag today and was very impressed. It is a serious improvement over the old model. I placed two on order right on the spot.

    Universal Wire Loop Sling Adapter:

    • SS Aircraft cable withstands barrel heat
    • Silent alternative to hooks for eyelets
    • Coated cable prevents damage to connection points
    • Ambidextrous to the max!!
    • Fits 1.25” to 1.50” webbing
    • Super versatile – makes many sling connection problems ‘go away.’

The sling loop body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet before being tumbled and bead-blasted for a non-reflective surface. The loop is hard-coat anodized before the nylon coated stainless steel aircraft-grade cable is installed with mil-spec ball-shank ends. The result is a sling adapter with limitless uses.

    Lightweight Redi-mag:

We start with the patented Boonie Packer Redi-mag II Quick Attach version and CNC machine away all non-essential areas to achieve a 25% weight reduction before Parkerizing and assembly. An added benefit of our Redi-modTM is a better view of the magwell for right handed shooters during reloads.
This Redi-mag II has an independent mag catch for use by right or left handed shooters and includes Bolt Catch Extension (BCE). These features allow the shooter to effectively clear bolt-over-base malfunctions. Quick-attach capability allows attachment or removal from issue weapons in minutes. Includes wrench. Fits all M4 Carbines and M16/AR15 rifles.

Have had the UWL in stock for awhile now and it is really a good piece of kit. Fixes a lot of the issues with how to mount a sling.

The modified Redi-Mag's will be in soon as well!

That sling adapter looks like it could be useful. It also looks a lot like Ned Christiansen's "Sling Cable."

    It's certainly similar in concept.

The BFG version is just slightly longer and more refined. It is very high quality, as you would expect from BFG.

Quick BFG mount pic. The quality and attention to detail is evident. I've used mine on several different weapon systems, and can find no area for complaint.

I plan on looping one of those around the handguard or gas tube on an AK to give a better attachment point to a VCAS.
