    20,000 rounds, since you could buy two standard stainless steel barrels for the cost of one Noveske 17-4.

    That would be the 'standard' Noveske SS barrels.

    ive got 7000 rounds through my afghan now and its just as accurate as ever

    +1 here as well. I have a Noveske VIS upper with there Afghan barrel and it shoot very very tight groups.

    Another VIS-2 with Afghan SS barrel owner. It is my go to rifle. Been absolutely reliable,and is absolutely accurate. The only time I really tried to shoot a group at range was confirming zero at 300 with Hornady 75 gr TAP and put 5 rounds in about 4 inches on the left side of a small paper plate, with a 4x scope.

    The only downside is that its a heavier upper than others.

    Afgan

    Here too, this one is my favorite and the others are good stuff also. The afgan made it's way to the top of my list.

    I am using the Troy claymore, mig welded it when I decided I liked it.
