Here's the one they show that optic mounted to on the Burris site.

    http://www.burrisoptics.com/arpepr.html

Take a look at measurements A and E. Unless I'm totally off, matching those two are your primary concern, yes?

All the ADM mounts read as the 30mm versions having a height of 1.471". I THINK that that's to the center of the rings (Burris specifies a 1" height as measured to the bottom of a 30mm ring), but the ADM site doesn't specify and their FAQ page is blank.

A call to an ADM rep may be in order, unless somebody has that info.

I called ADM multiple times today and left messages to no avail.

Not sure how the PEPR compares to the ADM's

    Can't hurt....

Somebody here knows. Lord knows we have plenty of folks here that are maniacal about measuring stuff!

Thanks, sent it but not expecting anything soon.

I'm sure someone here will help out, sooner or later, sooner would be better though.

The Scout will secure and rtz the same as the Recon....however for the small amt. extra, the 2 latched Recon is prob. a better choice so you will have a small insurance policy. I have numerous gear w. the ADM latches and never had one fail so take the insurance policy for what its worth.

Personally I never get a non-x version because the x will never be a detriment yet the non x could be one if you need more eye relief while still using the actual upper receiver to mount it on. So I would get the Recon or Scout X but any way go you will be gtg.

    mounted on guns....

+1 on the extended. I run a extended Bobro with my XTR so I can shoot NTCH. ADM extended would do the same. Non extended will not unless you run it forward of the upper receiver rail or have a monolithic upper.

Any way you guys can measure the height of the rings, from the topmost portion of the rail interface to the bottom of the rings, and tell us if it's 1" or not? (reference link above, measurement A, 30mm rings)

The primary question here is whether or not the ADM mounts will provide the height-over-bore required to ensure that the reticle in question is as valid as possible.

I am trying to think through if that matters. You zero as per the instructions and the bullet is on target dead center in the reticle. From there does the drop have anything to do with height over bore? I will have a few beers and ponder it. LOL

Edit to add: In any case if no one posts the measurements I will get them when I get to the shop on Monday.

Marsh1, I was also looking into Bobro mounts but all I could find on their site was mounts for Aimpoints. Does Bobro have another site ?

    http://www.bobroengineering.com/brow...y/opticmounts/

Also how do you like the XTR-14 ? I wanted to hold out for the SS 1-4x but who knows when that will be available.
