Why is 3 screws a must?

These are some of the best made rings I could find, the bases have a good rep, too. http://egw-guns.com/store/index.php?...roducts_id=180

Knowing how EGW makes parts, I'd put them up against anyone in the industry.

    RE Badger Ordnance:
You only need the six screw if you are shooting a heavy magnum or need to replace the front top cap to hold a NV device etc.

You dont mention what size scope you have so I cant tell you which ring set you would need but here are the basics:

    40mm obj=306-08 .823" tall
    50mm obj=306-20 .885" tall
    56mm obj=306-21 1.0" tall

They also make a flat/zero cant base, 306-06F

I sell a lot of these rings and bases and try to keep them in stock.
    Steve.

I have an EGW base and Burris mid, rings (3 Screws) on my 700 SPS.

Folks, no need for more than four total screws on a single ring unless you have a Simrad Cap.

My favorite rings are the Nightforce Ultra Lights.

    Badger is favorite base.

That combo has served me very well.

Badger does, in fact, make a zero MOA base.
