    you won't find a new Colt bcg for $175 on this planet. get a BCM and call it a day. you'll never know the difference. since there isn't any.

    Blankwaffe, no idea how I missed that, thank you.

    As to why I want a Colt: I have enough parts to send them in and have Ken make me a Lightweight Operator, except I am short a bolt carrier group. So, I need a Colt part as he doesn't work on others.

    I know BCM/LMT etc are just as good and if Ken wasn't doing the work I'd use one of them.

    buy a mil-spec black one........ I could be wrong (and probably am since I have never had a Colt BCG in my hand) but I don't think the Colts..... say Colt anywhere on them. If thats the case how the hell would he know?
