Haha...love this! I've done very similar with my M4: go all in on all the bells and whistles, and then realize it's all heavy stuff weighing your rifle down and you're the weak link. I like it.

Yeah, it was front heavy. I had other plans for it, but now I'm thinking of keeping it basic. Future purchase is a RS Regulate optic mount and Trijicon MRO. Having the optic over the dust cover should balance it out.

I have five of them, two FR, CR, UR, and the milled RPK. My most reliable 5.56 rifles that I own. Glad I convinced them to manufacture and import these.

I want a CR for an Alpha build, but I don't want dish out the cash to start another project.

I have the JMac Customs gas block and thinking about sending it to M13 Industries to get chopped. I'm still undecided...

I talked to Chris about 3 years ago and he said he stopped producing those due to cost vs demand. He was recommending the CNC Warrior extended krink brake. Did he start making them again???

I don't concern myself with what any particular community thinks about any particular subject so.

As a Cold War kid I love para folders and wood forearms on Galils.
