Thanks! I used the Rifle Dynamics adapter. It raises the cheek weld more than other adapters or AK stocks, which is what I needed. I have no real need for a collapsible stock on the rifle, so the fixed MOE seemed like a perfect fit. Didn't add but maybe a quarter inch to the LOP, so it still feels like an AK, just with a nicer cheek weld.

The one on the bottom is basically the same setup I've got. I'm just trying to get a cheap RD on it for right now to plink with before tax season so I can get my aimpoint. Does anyone know if the Vortex Sparc 2 will cowitness the irons with an ultimak railed gas tube?

I don't know if the SPARC II does. The SPARC I that I had wouldn't cowitness, the emitter got in the way. If they changed the emitter placement on the II, then it should cowitness fine. That said, if you're not going to be sticking with the SPARC forever, I'd just save some dough and use a PA Micro until you get the Aimpoint.
