Thanks, ill look at that one as well. But think i might go w/the authentic russian one since that sling will stay on that rifle and i dont plan on having that furniture too long.

ETA: went ahead and ordered the russian one!

Made a few changes to my 7.5" AK. The most important change was swapping out a BattleComp brake for a Damage Industries Projector.

I'm not an AK guru, just another AK owner. Your solution of wrapping the sling around the buttstock near the receiver seems fine, if it works for you. I suppose a lot of guys cut/drill into the buttstock to fit a sling attachment.

Feels a lil akward but it works, and thanks for the link! I ordered a similar swivel and was pondering the idea!!

If only i had access to a mill..... I have a dremel but ehhhhhh...
