Just got my unissued Hungarian AKM Type 1 bayonet and put it on my DDI AKM that I put Russian laminate furniture on. Pretty nifty.

What muzzle device is this? Looks like a pronged FH. How does it perform?

It is the Manticore Nightshroud Mk II in 24mm. Very effective flash hider much like an A2 on an M4.
They make a Nightbrake which is more of a compensator.

This AK is so well balanced and quick to shoulder, I have ordered Russian Red, wood furniture for the DAK 74.
Not a total purist, but I realized I love the warmth of wood furniture on my AK's





Furniture is refinished surplus, with character, mostly under the lower handguard.

This photo shows the pistol grip that came with the rifle. It is a brown color and showed use.

In the first 2 photos you can see I replaced the PG with more of a red color PG.

New to me, Russian Red on my Bulgarian DAK 74 from Definitive Arms. Sold the Poly furniture.









Interesting marks on the upper HG. I was advised it came to the vendor like this.
