Did a heads up competition for accuracy, energy on steel, and reliability when examining them at 100yds. The wonder weapon lost it's T2, and used it's KAC micros to compete on a fair irons across the field setup.
The AK is an 85' Siles, NY Norinco Blue bolt 56S-1

Thanks very much sir, Weds. was my first time shooting it. The IWS lower up top is equipped with a SD-3G, and honestly I'm not sure which trigger feels more fast or smoother. That was wild to me. The action is also something I've read about, but had to experience to appreciate. Accuracy was what it needs to be. I imagine it will be a really, really long time til I get the gun to choke on a round.
This is the off hand at 100yds results, slow fired. Figure this is the most relevant test for what these guns were actually designed for. A proper AR is still an amazing thing though.
eta... red bullseye portion is 2" for reference.
