Factory Hornady 75gr TAP. Barrel is a Superior Barrels Hoplite 1/7.

Still experimenting with handloads, but several have turned in sub MOA groups with Ramshot TAC and Varget shooting mostly Sierra 77gr SMKs in either Remington or LC brass.

I shot these yesterday while chronographing different loads looking for velocity and accuracy as best as I could. Hard to shoot your best groups when you have to fire a shot then write down the velocity. 17" Kreiger RECCE off a bi-pod with a 2.5-8 Leupold, 77gr SMK's, the gun can do better but I'm kind of proud of these 10 shot groups.

edit to add; the group on the bottom right in this pic is American Eagle 50 gr HP, so much for a 1/8 twist barrel not shootng lighter bullets.

pretty good 5 shot group with the same gun but with a friends chronograph, wish mine had the tape.

No I bought it from JTAC supply, I don't know if he had it built special or if the 17" was a normal run.

I need to get me a Krieger barrel. Seems like they are consistently the best performers accuracy wise.

I am pretty sure that was a custom batch order for JTAC as their website no longer lists any krieger barrels. I love Krieger barrels but they are really hard to acquire or time consuming. Awhile back it was awesome when they pre made their 16" 1/7 SS Recce barrel so that you did not have to submit the typical custom order form detailing the specs you want on it. A fellow member Edwin907 has the one I just mentioned and its a flat out tack driver.

I'm satisfied and all with my 11.5'' KAC groupings, but damn.

Damn. I want a Krieger barrelled SPR.

    Drool. Drool. Drool. . . . . .

How do they do on bolt guns?
