I though Mk318 was sopposed to be rated at having 2moa accuracy standard.

It seems like both the velocity and accuracy are right on the edge of the allowable spec(Although I haven't gone to look up the info yet... will do later today). Do you think this was reject ammo? It sure would explain the unexpected availability...

I was thinking the same. So far commercial sales of this ammo has been available only from one outfit, without explanation to their sources. I bought some, and visually I can't see any issues with ammo - obviously, visual eval provides little meaningful info.

I suppose it would be difficult to making a consistent accurate bullet with that type of bullet construction. Especially when the lead core is loose in the jacket.
