Glock finish?

I don't do much work on Glocks anymore but I had a customer bring one in for a quick sight installation the other day. Rather than the dull black finish that Glock used to put on their slides (manganese phosphate on top of Tenifer, IIRC) the slide looked shiny and felt pretty slick. Is Glock using a different coating these days?

IIRC they changed from the old black phosphate(dull) to the shiny finish in '99 - '00

My understanding is that Glock now uses a spray on finish over tennifer as opposed to the older phosphate finish.
