    KAC Micro rear sights

Anyone have the exact folded height measurements of the KAC Micro 300 meter and the Micro 200-600 meter flip up rear sights ?

I've got the 200-600 on a rig downstairs and a dial caliper in the Kennedy. Tell me what you want measured, exactly, and I'll post it.

OK the barrel is .475 and when folded is in contact with the top of the rail. So the height of the folded sight is .475 exactly. That's for the 200-600.

Thanks Bill . The Troy rear sight I have now is .460" folded down. For this scope and Larue LT-104 mount application i need to find a rear folding BUIS that is around .400" or less. Anyone have the height on the KAC 300 Micro. I assume the highest point on it would be the windage drum. I will probably call KAC Monday.

From pictures I've seen, the 300 uses the same windage system as the 200-600 so it will be just as high, about .475.

I believe you are right . Maybe the windage knob is off center enough that clearance is not an issue with the bottom of the scopes flip up lens cover.

for the 200-600m micro, the elevation adjustment barrel on the sight shaft is what sticks up, not the windage drum located on the side. For the 300m, my guess is you could shave off a couple hundreths of an inch from the 200-600m micro.

I just figured out how to measure this and, yes, this is correct. The 300m is close to .450.

Good to know. I have the 200-600m micro rear, but only because the 300m was never in stock. I like the 200-600, but don't really need the adjustibility, so the 300 would have been my first choice. I never have been very patient though .
