which platform is best suited for this modification? Regarding meat on slide to mill, placement, any interruption of internal slide parts (exposing FP channel or other?)

    thanks

None of the slides I've see thus far have any issues with the FP safety plunger channel WRT installing the Deltapoint or RMR itself.

There are rear sight installations that cut away so much of the slide behind the dovetail that installing a rear suppressor sight requires some extra effort.
I'm working out the details on this currently.

Starting with a clean Caspian slide is perhaps the best approach.

All are too narrow for Trijicon RMR mounting without an adapter plate although I've done that.

The Deltapoint has a narrow enough center to center distance to not require the adapter plate.
