looking for a new forend for my M500

I have decided that I don't like the forend that came with my mossberg, and I am looking for a replacement. I have considered the hogue offering, as well as a lighted forend so that I can replace the seperate light I currently have mounted. Suggestions? Pictures?
Currently my shotgun is set up with a sidesaddle and a light on a rail.

    Thanks for any advice guys
    -Joe

What you're referring to as a "pump" is properly called the "forend". My recommendation would be a SureFire LED forend. Otherwise, I like the Speedfeed II forend.

I'd get rid of that heat shield, too.

Ditto. The surefire unit is of the highest quality.

Ah, forend, gotcha. I will definately look into the surefire forend. Is installation relatively straightforward? Due to its cost, I'm still highly considering just getting a hogue forend. And word on those? From what I understand it may require some modifications to fit...
And why would you remove the heatshield? So far I have had no issues, but I am relatively new to the shotgun world.

Opinions vary but, mine is that the heat shield adds nothing to the shotgun but weight. Weight is the last thing a shotgun needs any more of.
