    LWRC REPR

Will any railed handguards fit on the REPR?

Not as of now. The REPR hand guard is proprietary. I know of no plans for anyone to make one.

Another one, maybe same weapon and guy.

Anybody knows how they are performing in A-stan? It's a very interesting weapon and I'm thinking in talking about it to the guys in charge with the selection of a .308 semi for DMR/battle rifle. I'm hearing scary stories about the HK417s that are being tested at the moment.

    Question

"Scary" as in 'very good' or 'not so much'?

Scary as "dude! give me back my -insert obscene quantity of money here- €!!". HK417 here are being introduced in LE intervention units, whose requiriments in long range accuracy and resistance are lower than in military units.

Rumour is that our top counter-terror unit recently selected the HK416, but not the HK417... even when they need to replace a similar rifle.

From what I've seen in videos and forums, the REPR looks like a good Battle Rifle, will be a good contender here, but our Armed Forces don't send RFIs to all the firearms makers out there... just call the very few they're familiar with and expect to find the perfect rifle in 2 months of tests. Pfffffffffttt....

Initial reports from the DEA mirrored the civilian experience with reliability problems due to the mag catch being out of spec for most SR-25 mags. This was corrected in March and the volume of complaints is down considerably since that time. The current production REPRs seem to be solid. Still, I wonder if there are now less expensive options (OBR/MWS) that can accomplish the same mission.

Then again, this video is rather impressive...especially the 240 round full auto dump and ninja roll.
