OutlawDon... thanks for the link to PimpMyGun... that's a great tool!

I'm envisioning something like this for myself, classic and simple.

I like it too. I have the A2 stock for the build! Now I just need the rest of the parts.

    Sign me up for 1!

I actually just was in a local gun store and they had a BM Dizzy with some weird factory camo applied. I was interested in the camo so I checked it out. I was liking it. The Dizzy, not the gay camo it had. It had a 2 piece quad rail (which IMO if you're going to rail it use a FF design) and a collapsible stock. Since then I've looked at Dizzy barrel options for grins and giggles. Then after lurking around I found this thread and have read through it.
I can't wait to get a BCM Dizzy! This, for me, would be a great KISS gun like others have stated. I currently have an A2 lower with my 6.8 so I could easily buy an upper and just swap back and forth till I decide whether or not to buy a new lower.
And even though I run optics I still have an FSB. I like having the FSB so that way even if my EoTech dies on me I can use it as a large rear apeture. For this Dizzy though I think I would use one of the few carry handles I have stored. Other than throwing MOE handguards on I would run an AFG.
All in all, I'm really stoked about this! Can't wait to get one. And by the time I get my other 2 projects out of the way there will be enough time for these to be in circulation and user reviews will be in the plenty. Looking forward to seeing them out!

I've seen Bushmaster Dissy uppers and guns and ADCO uppers. I didn't think BCM had any out. I think spell check made all your Dissy's into Dizzy's.

HART there is that 3 letter word again!

I would, might, give one a shot, but, as Rob knows, I don't believe in all that "KISS" BS, unless were talking Dr.Love Kiss

I would run it, either as Rob shows it, but with the UWL up around the FSB, and perhaps a Colt C stock I have. I also have an old school SF light that mounts to the FSB, and sorta dog legs around it, putting the lamp at 12 0'clock.

More likely I would run it with a DD omega or other FF rail.

I prefer fixed FSB, mounted on the barrel, and FF tube. This eliminates any interference from sling pressure, barricades/cover, etc etc. Nothing touches your barrel or sights.
I have plenty of room to push my light, sling mount, and a laser if I have one, forward, and still be able to reach out on the gun.

I would also stay with the Govt profile type barrels. Remember the mil went to a slightly heavier profile for a reason, and may soon go heavier.
The thicker barrel up front, gives you a little more durability when muzzle punching someone, or braking and raking a window, if you don't have the proper tools for that.

Be interesting to see and shoot one.

You're welcome and have fun with it! Great tool for getting creative...well, maybe sometimes a little too creative.

Just food for thought... Though not a BCM just a Bushy .

This is how I used to have my BS Dissy set up. I got the idea after seeing the Grail Rifle from Defensive Edge and other RECCEs, I didn't have much money at the time so I thought I'd build a KISS verison. It looks nothing like this now, however. When I work up the energy and get off my butt, maybe I'll take some good pics of its current tactified state (still with A2 handguards - MOEs are still on pre order).

That's nice. A1 stock fits me better though. So is BCM going forward with this thing? This thread keeps popping up in my CP. It's making me want to get my dissy out an shoot it.

I agree the A1 stock is a good fit. The CAV Arms stock looks like a good option.
