Why do you think it's a fad?

Yeah, I'd be interested. I am planning on building a rifle with a2 sight and carry handle using the triangular laminated wood grips ( con;t remember who makes them). this barrel would be perfect for that!

Lw bbls are great. They have been around since the beginning. Not really a fad.

So will this will be available in a LW Middy Version???

I see that see that Spikes is hitting the market with their LW Mid Length Dissy this week. Looks like it will be a big seller as well.

Its nice to see so many companies responding to the marketplace with the things people are asking for.

Here's my take on the dissipator. I got all the parts from BCM, except for the triangular handguard cap, which they didn't have in stock. (I ended up getting it for free locally. Thanks, Get Some!)

I built this upper yesterday, and took it out to the desert this morning to get my optic zeroed back in. So far, I like it very much. Everything is nice and tight and the balance of the rifle is great. The only thing that caught me off guard was how hot the MOE handguards got. I almost always shoot with gloves on anyway, but you would not be able to shoot this without them for any appreciable length of time.

Here are a few pimp my gun ideas until Stickman posts up more Full Frontal Dissapator Nudity. Just "trying on" different options--the only ones the pimp-my-gun has--this could be a fun upper to have. Rail options range from DD to LaRue...again, the only way to get those from pimp-my-gun.

    DD rail with Trijicon TR-21(?).

VLTOR upper and Club foot. (makes it a none BCM, I guess).

Another DD rail, but loaded Dissapator.
