New to weapon lights. What is the difference between the standard and "clicky " switch?

Surefire standard tailcap is momentary only, unless you twist it to go on fulltime. A clicky switch is just that--you push it until it clicks on, and push again to change level or to turn off. Some clickies have a momentary feature where you press lightly for momentary activation.

So the 6Px Pro doesn't have a "clicky"? My impression was that it switches between the 15 and 200 lumen settings?

Both Pro models have clicky switches where clicking it on will turn on the 15-lumen low and turning it off and on again will give you the 200 lumen high mode.

Compared the 120 lumen 6P and 200 lumen 6PX. The hot spot of the 6PX is brighter and gives it more throw. The 6PX has a warmer tint. The tail cap on the 6P fit the 6PX.

Most excellent, thank you sir! So the bezel is removable on the X series.

Replacing the bezel to the body of the 6PX badly damaged the O-ring. Some of the O-ring can be seen protruding with the bezel on tight. That was the first time I took it off.

You can spy the red thread lock on the body. Others report that their heads were stuck without some heat and elbow grease. It's not intended to be user-removed.

So if this light is to be used as a weapom light only, it sounds like the "tactical" model is the better choice over the "pro" model, right?
