Nice setup! What do you think about the Spike's rail?

Nice looking rifle. Can you give us a little more information as to why you selected these particular parts for your build?

I really like the Spike's rail....
It is a tad shorter than the T12 form Midwest Industries....even though they are both listed as 12" Rails.
This does make the Spike's 12" BAR system a little lighter too!

I chose the T12 & Spikes rails so I can fit the Suppressor down inside of it once mounted on the barrel. I bought both cause I was not sure which one I wanted to go with...they were both really nice light rails. Since I had to wait 10weeks for the Spike's rail I decided to go that route.

The rest of the parts I chose after researching this site and listening to others first hand experience. This was my first build so I had the time to research the parts I wanted. I talked with the guys at Spike's at the last gun show and they seemed really knowledgeable and had a great product line.

I am sure down the rd I will get a two-stage trigger....but this one works just fine!

I will tell you that teh Troy battle sights are very frail. What I mean is that I did not immediately have a front sight adjustment tool so I adjusted it with a metal pin......tore up the front sight around the selector pin. No big deal really, just BE SURE to get a good sight adj tool for it.

I really like the setup and am happy with all the parts! This thing shoots so smooth!

Who makes the can? Is it functional or a faux? It looks great either way.
