If I had the money, this is what I would build. Comes out to about $2100 without the battlecomp if you just wanted to do a regular flash hider. With the battlecomp it is $2300.

For engaging paper targets out to 500 meters.

How customizable is the LMT MWS? Can I change out the rail system for a DD lite?

Can the LMT rail forearm be removed and replaced with a DD Lite 12.0?

An FAL will be less accurate from a bench. However if you are not shooting from a supported position it is unlikely that you will notice the difference.

I have handled one, and I'm awaiting mine still (darn'd color choice). I like the left-side charging handle,

(as an AR-10 variant owner, the traditional "on the top" charging handle on my LR-308. like all 7.62 ARs is very long pull, making the handle more likely to be stressed/tweaked, and you completely lose your checkweld)

    their internal coatings,

    and the parts compatability.

I'm excited to share ammo and mags with my LR-308, an added bonus.

$2200? considering it comes with high quality BUIS, a sensible "rail-less-rail" (add actual rails only where you need them) that is smartly integrated into the upper, the coatings/materials, and geissele trigger, and the charging handle uniqueness, that would surprise me, but who knows.
