An FAL will be less accurate from a bench. However if you are not shooting from a supported position it is unlikely that you will notice the difference.

I would have to say the repr is the opposite of hot....I just saw one at my local funstore that was used but never shot and was $2200.

I think this will be the final price for these repr's or actually prob. a bit below.

I have handled one, and I'm awaiting mine still (darn'd color choice). I like the left-side charging handle,



(as an AR-10 variant owner, the traditional "on the top" charging handle on my LR-308. like all 7.62 ARs is very long pull, making the handle more likely to be stressed/tweaked, and you completely lose your checkweld)

$2200? considering it comes with high quality BUIS, a sensible "rail-less-rail" (add actual rails only where you need them) that is smartly integrated into the upper, the coatings/materials, and geissele trigger, and the charging handle uniqueness, that would surprise me, but who knows.
