What Red Dot Scope for Benelli M1?

I recently installed a rail on my Benelli M1 and now would like to add a red dot scope on it. I don't know what would be best for this application. I am thinking of ATN Digital Ultra Sight Reflex Scope, but most don't recommend since it can't really handle the recoil. The reticle keep getting dimmer on each shot.
If you have any suggestion, I am all ears. Thanks in advance.

Rail I used is Dave's Metal Works

Bolt Release button is Ed Brown, and GG&G bold handle

Check out the Aimpoint Micro T-1 or H-1.

See discussions about them on in the Optics Thread of the forums.

Attached is a picture of the Micro T-1 on a VangComp 870. It is very rugged had has with stood several shotgun classes basically 200 slugs, 200 00B, 800 target loads thus far.

I'm not FJB, but I believe that Hans V. put that Rail on there for him, it's a nice functional piece of Pic Rail on top of the receiver.

That is correct. Hans Vang installed a piece of Picatinny rail in front of the LPA ghost ring rear sight. As an aside, Hans will be producing his own rear ghost ring sight that will have a piece of Picatinny rail in front of the ghost ring for mounting a red dot like a Micro.

Attached are some photos of the Micro T-1 in the new LaRue Tactical Micro Tall Riser, Short Riser, and the standard Aimpoint Micro mount. The LT short riser is the same height as the standard Micro mount, but uses his superb throw lever. The standard Aimpoint Micro T-1 mount will fit a Weaver rail like a #36 base mount.

Also, attached is a close up of the Micro T-1 with the short riser on a VangComp'd 870.

Aimpoint H-1. You can add a LT mount if you want or just use the factory mount if you don't need to remove it and have it repeat zero.

Aimpoint T1,H1 are just fine as is Aimpoint M2,ML2,M3,ML3. As is EO TECH. If you want to keep it small and light I would reccomend the Aimpoint T1,H1 or Dokter, Jpoint or the new Trijicon Dokter copy. It all depends on YOU, USAGE and YOUR budget.

I just was pondering the whole EOTech/Aimpoint question for my 870P. After a lot of house clearing drills and carefull thought of how I'd use this weapon I've come to this conclusion ---- For indoor defense purposes - I need to shoulder this weapon as quickly as possible. Since the threat will be no farther than 20', my best plan is to aim off the front sight at center mass. IMO - as good as my EOTech is -- it will probably slow me down to a small degree in a CQB situation.

But recognizing the value of a good red dot for beyond the confines of my small condo -- I do want something that will allow accurate shots out to 25m with buck - and 50m with slugs. For that I will be choosing the minidot like the Pride Fowler or Burris Fast Fire.

These mini's are small enough to allow you to focus on the front irons from over the top of the sight for CQB and their feild of view is large enough for reasonably quick and accurate shots at distance. Compared to my EOTech -- I felt much quicker indoors with the front sight. I'll show some pics when I get the thing mounted. For now its the EOThingy , but soon it'll be the Burris:
