just out of curiosity, what is it about the Camelbak Linchpin that doesn't work?

I'm interested too the Linchpin looks like the perfect pack for light backcountry skiing, weekends up to the chalet, etc

i just went back and watched mm's shot show 2010 episode 2, where camelbak debuted the linchpin. it actually looks like it >might< work. i just don't like the $
