What type of Surefire and IR filter? I may be able to look through my shit and find something to fit your needs and budget.

If you or anyone has any idea where I can find ANY mounts for the ATN Patriot 2 please let me know. As for a PEQ...I WISH!!! I am working on a surefire w/ir filter.

Right now I have a rather weak 6P but I am maybe getting a Surefire Millennium M962.

    Strikefires

I have two, they have held zero perfectly and their customer service was top notch for the one issue I had ( halo effect in one.) They replaced it no questions asked. Very happy with both my Strikefires.

No, I didn't/don't have my mind already made up. And I wasn't just looking for permission. I am trying to weigh all of the facts and buy what I need and not more. Ultimately I want an Aimpoint CompM2 or CompM3, but that's slot of money for me. I am leery of buying a used one since I would have virtually no recourse if it were fake, broken or just defective. I was originally going to buy an EOTech 552 until I used one...no good...big fuzzy reticles are not my thing. Since I am fairly to very proficient with irons, I am not in a real hurry to buy a sight, so I'll probably just save up longer...
Buying used is great just limit who you buy from to established forum members. I have bought most of my optics on forums like these. I just look at the persons history and sales record.

I just received a Strikefire. Have yet to shoot it however... All in all it appears to be a nice unit. Both red and green dots are nice and bright. Im impressed with the overall quality of the unit. Hopefully it is as nice as other reviews I have read stated...
