    Not LaRue or Bobro

What is the consensus on Primary Arms and Burris PEPR mounts. I am not going to spend the money on LaRue or Bobro, but am looking to try out options. I might even go NCStar just to see what I like and then get the good version. I am not going to spend upwards of $200 on something that I might not like conceptually.

What the about American Defense Scout series?

I am not a Zombie shooter, but am not sure about the future.

I have two BCM builds, a 16" middie and a 20" rifle. I also have a Bushmaster M4 style which I am going to dump. I did stake the key and the castle nut and do a BCM extractor upgrade, but it's a fixed carry handle model and I don't like it. I do love the Magpul hand guard and the Leupold carry-handle mount though. That mount returns to zero on my Bushmaster if anybody is wondering.

Thanks, this is a great forum.

Maybe the Primary mount is OK. I dunno'. Save your money & get a LaRue mount. I'm been shooting for over 50 years & I wish I had the money I wasted on "inexpensive" optics & mounts.
    JMO. Do what you want.

I wouldnt waste your money on a cheap mount for your high quality BCM uppers.

I would go with a LaRue mount personally. If you dont like it "conceptionally" or otherwise, Mark & the crew will surely take care of you and swap it out for something that will work better for you.

I agree. Buy cheap, buy twice. Get it right the first time. Larue is definately the way to go IMHO.

American Defense is also great quality. If you don't want to spring for the Larue, the ADM stuff is also good.

i'd go with Bobro or ADM.

only thing i don't like about Larue is their clamp is not self adjusting.
