This site is great. Lots of info from knowledgeable people, little or no BS to wade through.

After lurking here awhile, and now posting some, and spending time on other forums, I must agree on the general consensus. I keep hearing about "TOS" and I don't know what that site is, The Other Site, perhaps, but now I don't think I want to know if that's not it. I'm not ex-Mil, or LEO, just a guy with some guns who hopes they will not be needed to stay alive but realizes they may be. I support a family of four on blue collar wages, so I don't have much money for training, but do want it when I can get it. Been a machinist for 20 yrs., doing gunsmithing off and on out of home for over 10 yrs. Now working part time at a shop a friend owns, hopefully to eventually get fulltime. Customer base is growing steadily. It's rural, so don't see a lot of military type weapons, but that is changing. That quote about holding the receiver and the oil filter wrench was good. I do see a lot of dumb shit like that. I keep telling the shop owner that a firearms worst enemy is its owner.
