    meh

So, I finished this shortly before Christmas and was going to do a nice writeup about the parts and accuracy and what not, but I just can't get my hands on any ammo right now so here we go!

I started doing research as to what rifle I would like to buy more than a year ago. I didn't grow up with fire arms so I had to start at the beginning. I started off looking at all the modern video game guns, the FN FS2000 was an early favorite, I looked at the SCAR and ACR, I looked at the FAL, AR10, M1A, Larue and Noveski, and some more exotic weapons.

After learning quite a bit I decided to build an AR and started buying parts at the end of last summer. I saw Troy's new rifle that [Boycott] started selling for them last year and I liked the look of it so I patterned mine to match it. The lower is Stag, the upper is Vltor MUR with out the FA, the Barrel/BCG/Buffer are BCM Cold Hammer Forged LW Mid, the Stock/BUIS/Fore end are Troy, and the muzzle device is a AAC Blackout mostly because I couldn't find any reviews of Troy's new muzzle devices. I added the Aimpoint Patrol to finish it off.

I ordered one of the BCM mid length 16" upper assemblies that flashed in stock on Tuesday evening. Received it today. And I have a BCM BCG I nabbed last month at the old price to put into it, plus a stripped aero precision lower, also nabbed last month at the old price, and BCM H buffer/buffer spring/buffer tube ordered yesterday to put the upper on. Hells yeah.

BCM service continues to rock, despite the market insanity.

I have a S&W M&P 15T and was wanting to swap the Troy MRF Battlerail for a 15" Troy Alpha and was wanting to kinda see how it would look. I have a BCM 14.5 with a 13" VTAC.
