Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.
I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

Day.
Night.
The new 1.93 mount from #reptiliacorp for the #trijicon MRO. The upper receiver group (URG) is all #centurionarms, the lower is #bravocompanyusa. Yes, I'm lazy and did a cut and paste of the info off my IG page. I'm not sure how tagging does or doesn't work in the forum vs search engine world.

Hey Stick, why weren't you nominated for a Photographer of the Year Gundie Award? Aero's pushing their whole crew to anyone on their mailing list, and I woulda expected BCM to stick up for its own...

Latest with the C8, ESS Shift standing in for the crappy Canadian abomination that's their new 2-to-1 sling... this will probably be the last pic of it I post until my gunsmith has the furniture greened and ready to reinstall. BCG's still in the bag because I wanted to save one piece for The GF to do... I'll test-fire using the BCG and lower meant for my M4, then test the C8 lower using the M4 upper once it arrives.
New additions: ESS Shift sling, GG&G 1275-FTE "Front Toward Enemy" lens covers, GG&G 1190 Accucam QD mount, ADM 1610 optic riser for Eotech 511/512/551/552.
Still working on finding a green recoil pad, and trying to decide a coin-toss between Gunkote Light OD or Oasis Green. The end of this project is in sight...

They did, and I declined the nomination. I sent them an email explaining that while I appreciated the thought, I didn't need recognition as pretty much every one in the industry already knew me and my work. I felt it would be better to use the platform for new guys who were trying to get established. With social media platforms being heavily biased against firearm images (except a few who manage to get around it), some of these newer guys don't get the chance for recognition that they deserve.
I went a step farther and let the Gundies crew know that I would help them out however possible, and would even donate a large metal print as a prize to help out. It would appear that I made someone unhappy as they couldn't be bothered to even reply back. I've been told that the "Gundies" is a PR event for a marketing group, but I don't know if that is a legit comment or not. It kinda appears that way, and if it is, its fine with me. Its outside the box thinking, and may be a good way to recruit talent.
Hopefully it goes well, but if they do the multiple votes, buying votes, or anything else that way, I would lose faith in it and suspect it of being more like a "look at us event". One vote per person, keep skanky girls out, and then I would consider it legit. However, its their game, their rules, and I still hope it goes well. Eventually it will tie into a SHOT Show dinner or something I would guess.
