Good eye, had an old 2x acog. It now runs an Aimpoint Pro. You still gotta know how to run the irons though.

I was getting tired of seeing some immaculate looking M4's.

I looked at your pic and thought it was a perfect setup for quick-detach of the optic in order to use the carry handle sights. Is that not how you deploy it?

I used to do that on my very earliest M4. I had a mini ACOG attached to the carry handle and I could take it off to use the irons if that range day seemed to call for it.

Now I just keep a Colt 6920 in the factory condition with carry handle for my iron sight use. The BCM gets all the doodads.

It isn't QD but it does have a hole so you can use the irons, not optimal for use but it's doable.
