    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    I was going to do a write up on this thing over in the custom build forum but I got a little way into it and lost the will to do a whole big post on the individual components and the optic and the rationale behind why I went with them.
    But basically this is my take on the Diemaco/Colt Canada C7A2 or the “M16A5” concept.
    20” upper on a adjustable stock lower. A TA-110 LED ACOG is the optic.





    Finished it today, took it to the range and fired about 50 rounds. The weather at the range made me opt against trying to dial in a really good zero. I did get a *rough* 100yd zero with both the backup sights and the ACOG, but the high winds made trying to get a really good zero kinda pointless. I’ll do that on a calmer day. Initial impression is that it’s a very pleasant shooter.
