    New here, New Colt 6720!

Name's Mike, thought I would say hello to everyone. I've owned 3 AR-15's over the years, first one was a Bushmaster A3 with an Hbar, second was a DPMS Sportical, and now my newest one I just picked up yesterday....Colt 6720 equipped with all the Magpul goodies, and the 10" quad rail. Not sure who makes the rail on it but its marked Colt Defense.
Now I know what a quality carbine really is. Ended up trading the DPMS and $650 for the Colt, and I couldn't be happier.
I plan on adding either an Aimpoint or an Eotec here in a couple of weeks, but until then I do have the flip up Magpul MBUS, and a cheap lighted reticle scope I had on my DPMS.

Anyway, just figured I would introduce myself, say hello, and soak up some information.
Here are a couple of crappy cell phone pics...

Nothing really better. You are done.
If you aren't armed when you take a dump in your own home then your opinion on what is a practical daily carry weapon isn't interesting to me.

Nope, no ideas, it was installed when I bought it, and probably the only thing that is on it that I don't have an idea about. Its my first rifle with a free float forend.
If anyone else may have a clue, feel free to enlighten me. Thanks.

I thought it was a Troy, but I searched and I couldn't find the info anywhere until you posted that thread and it led me to the gunbroker post about it.

This is the description from gunbroker....

This is a special consecutive pair 2 of 1500 made rifles. Starting with a Colt Defense M4 Carbine equipped with the light weight 16 inch pencil barrel 1/7 twist chrome lined with M4 feed ramps. The bolt has the standard M16 carrier and the Magnetic Particle Colt (MPC) inspection stamp (SEE The Pictures). The upper receiver has a low pro gas block, a 10” free floating Troy Quad Rail with MBUS pop up front and Gen 2 rear sights. There are three ladder rail covers and a Magpul Vertical Grip assembly included. The black Rogers Superstock is infinitely adjustable using the lever lock. It has the four position quick lock telescoping buffer tube with the heavy buffer. The push pins are the standard size as used on all Government rifles and the trigger and hammer pins as well. Please note there are no steel blocks or pins in the auto sear area, and the M4 Carbine roll stamp. These rifle are made by Colt Defense, not the Civilian sporter side. These rifles are only 2 of 1500 made in this TALO configuration. Each rifle package includes two 30 round PMags, a front sight adjustingtool and one quick disconnect sling swivel as well. Once again here are two of only 1500 made this way and will be sure to increase in value.

VA Arms has these in stock - VERY nice rifles. Would've liked to see a 12" rail though.
